When Chilly Meets Pan Mee @ Face to Face Noodles House

Introducing Face to Face Noodles House, an irresisitable traditional recipe of Pan Mee which makes your taste buds feel even hotter!

Pan Mee is a prominent household Malaysian Chinese cuisine, handmade from kneaded flour. Face to Face Noodles House is one of the specializing in local fare, combining simple yet comfortable atmosphere with excellent fusion of their Sarawak's homemade noodles ' Kolok Mee ' and Pan Mee.
The founder believes face to face contact is the most personal sincere and direct communication manner, that is how the restaurant had its name. The restaurant is divided into indoors air-conditioned section and the outdoors alfresco section.

There are only tables with edges to meet the purspose of its name.

Let's see what they got us here.

Their signature Pan Mee is a must ordered item. It comes with sunny side up egg, anchovies and minced pork along with a small bowl of hot soup. You can even opt for thick, thin or pinch noodles to fulfill your expectations towards the dish. According to them, you are supposed to break the egg yolk amd mix with the noodles together with dried crispy chilly before eating. What a perfect combination!

What's Pan Mee without homemade chilly?

Besides, a friendly waitress recommended their Traditional Sarawak Noodles as known as 'Kolok Mee'. Since the great grandfather of the founder was previously the main supplier for 'Kolok Mee' in Sarawak, it is highly recommmended as it is the most authentic noodles in Sarawak. The noodles come with slices of bbq pork, minced pork and bouncy pork balls. The noodles resemble wantan noodles (another chinese traditional noodle served with slices of bbq pork) slightly but with more spring.

I chose their ice blended mango yogurt drink to complete my meal. One good thing to mention about the drink is they chose the famous brand Bliss by Nestle as their base. It is worth it to have such a quality drink. However, I find it too sweet for me, otherwise, it is a fantastic drink to have under the hot weather.

Articles about the restaurant displayed in outdoor's section.

Face to Face Noodles House has been recognized by several newspapers. ' The noodles here are handmade daily and does not contain any preservatives and alkaline.' said the owner. You can see its success by witnessing more and more branches to be opened throughout the years. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our lunch. Their service and cleanliness are well maintained. Food arrived in less than 10minutes. Face to Face Noodles House is certainly a great place to visit once in a while. To readers who did not try it yet, why not give it a try?
