As a seafood lover, I decided to choose Bubba Gump for the review. Last Friday, My friends and I went to visit the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company for dinner. The waiters and waitress here are very friendly and helpful. Even my friends and I could feel their amiable manner towards every customer. When we were going to have our orders, we heard the staffs singing birthday song for one of the customers to celebrate his big day.
Until today, there are thirty-nine Bubba Gump restaurants operating worldwide. So far, Bubba Gump Sunway Pyramid is the largest outlet in South East Asia. The Bubba Gump Shrimp Company Restaurant and Market is a seafood restaurant which mainly serves shrimps as their main dishes. It was inspired by the film Forrest Gump in year 1994. The restaurant is named after the movie’s main characters, Benjamin Bufford “Bubba” Blue and Forrest Gump who talked about going into shrimping business.
Firstly, you can see the Bubba Gump merchandise shop which just located beside the restaurant. Bubba Gump t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, ping pong paddles & balls , Forrest Gump DVDs and also soundtrack CDs are sold in this so-called souvenir shop.
The special promotion is that children below 12 years old can get free meal ANY TIME , ANY DAY !

The waiting lounge. We have been waiting for around 10 minutes as we went there during the peak hour.
This is the most creative part that I'm going to introduce you guys. When we were asked to be seated, the waiter asked us as it was our first time to dine in here and after that he introduced us the special way of calling the waiter/waitress. If you want to call for the waiter/waitress , you just have to flip it to "STOP FORREST STOP" and the efficient waiter will pop up by your table to take your orders. Flip it back to "RUN FORREST RUN" when you are done with your orders. Is it very creative ? :)

Here comes the dishes of the night :
Mango Sparkler (RM12.90) and Speckled Lemonade (RM12.90) as the drinks of the night. The refreshing sweet-and-sour taste of the drinks will definitely enhance your appetite.
Free refills available for quenchers, juices and soft drinks.
Side dish- Mashed Potatoes ( RM 7.90 )
Main dish- "... Of Course We Have Scampi!" (RM32.90)
Tender Shrimp sauteed with Capers in Lemon Garlic Butter, served over a bed of Linguini. Spaghetti is always the must-have dish, isn't it? :)
Shrimpim' Dippin' Broth (RM36.90)
Lots of Shrimp cooked in a spicy Broth and sered with Jasmine Rice and French Bread for dippin'. It tastes heavenly good as I've finished the soup without any single drop left.
Cajun Shrimp (RM24.90)
Sauteed in hot and spicy Cajun Butter Sauce and served with garlic bread for dippin'.
I strongly recommend you guys to order this when you dine in here.
Alabama Hot Wings (RM21.90)
Spicy Lollipop-look chicken wings served with refreshing carrots, celery and a Ranch Dressing for dippin'.
Chocolate Dream Cake (RM15.90)
Last but not least, the dessert ! As the saying goes, ladies usually have two stomachs, one for main dishes and another for desserts. Here comes the Chocolate Dream Cake (RM15.90) as the ending of my dinner in Bubba Gump ! It is the extra moist chocolate cake served with a scoop of Vanilla ice-cream!

Overall, I'm satisfied with not only the foods but also the services. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy great foods and at the same time to chill, I strongly recommend Bubba Gump instead of other western restaurant. You re also advised to dine in here in a big group as the foods are served in a large portion.
