Sakae Sushi

Choice of food for everyone is different, but for me Japanese food is the one of the favourites food that I like most. As a Japanese food lover I will definitely recommend Sakae Sushi as a good dining restaurant. Sakae Sushi is a well known restaurant that has more than 70 outlets in Asia and the first restaurant was started in 1997 in Singapore.

Last Monday, I have visited one of the outlet restaurants of Sakae Sushi in Sunway Pyramid with my friend. The environment were totally great, the chairs and tables were organized, the cleanliness was good, the customers were chit-chatting softly, a chill slow sound track was played, dim lights were shinning and these made the environment felt so relax and chill. However, their services were not that well, the waiters did not come immediately when you were asking them to come over and the counter machine was not working when we were going to pay our bill.

Sushi Train

Sushi train was the one that get our attention once we sat down. The sushi train carries plates of sushi that look delicious and it continuously going round and round. So, we had took two plates of sushi from the sushi train which are Inari Sushi and Sakae Blossom as our appetizer.

Inari Sushi (RM 1.99)

The Inari Sushi is made up from rice wrapped up with a small piece of seasoned aburage (fried tofu skin). It taste sweet and sour, so it just simply, plain and nothing special about it.

Sakae Blossom (RM 9.99)

The Sakae Blossom is made up from a piece of half-baked salmon, fish eggs and rice. Moisten this sushi with a little of soy sauce mixed with wasabi, it will enhanced your taste of this sushi and it will taste perfectly nice. Salmon Sushi is definitely a good appetizer to start with.

Ipad ordering system

After eating appetizers, we started to order drinks and foods from the Ipad that placed on the corner of the table. The menu is shown in the Ipad and there are more than 200 various of cuisine which categorize as sushi, sashimi, ramen, benton and so on. Generally, the prices of food are around RM15 to RM50, so their food are in medium class price level. At the end, we decided to order two cups of cold green tea, one bowl of Chicken Teriyaki Ramen and one bowl of Kinoko Cha Soba.

Green Tea

The green tea is a healthy and natural drink but it taste a little bitter and plain enough as a cup of water. But after having meal, green tea will be the best choice of refreshing your throat. Between it is free of charge.

Chicken Teriyaki Ramen

Chicken Teriyaki Ramen has grilled chicken, thin noodles, vegetables, half slice of boiled egg and two slice of japanese fish cake in it. The grilled chicken is well matched with the noodles and soup and it turn out with a wonderful taste.

Kinoko Cha Soba

Kinoko Cha Soba is a vegetarian food. It is a bowl of noodle that has soup and covered with japanese mushrooms and vegetables. One special thing of this dish is the noodles are made up from green tea mixed with flour and it really taste good with the enrichment of green tea noodles.

Overall, the ambience of Sakae Sushi, comfortable, relax, chill and peace to let you have your meals over here and their food are undeniable delicious and tasty. No matter is the quality of environment or the quality of food, they are both in the excellent grade. So, Sakae Sushi is one of the best restaurants to enjoy your meals, so why don’t you take your friends and family and visit them now?
