Delicious

     Have you been to a restaurant that serves food that literally makes your mouth say the name of the place? That's right Delicious. Delicious started as a cosy tearoom in 1 Utama Shopping Centre with just a few items on its menu in 2004.Even though the place of the restaurant is not favoured but their famous delicious food soon spread like a willfire. Soon, the thriving café was packed with families and young professionals looking for the comfort homemade food.
     Soon, a second outlet sprouted up in Bangsar Village and now there are five Delicious cafes in the Klang Valley with one more opening in Penang at Straits Quay, Sri Tanjung Pinang in May 2011.
     Its menu has blossomed into a veritable treasure house of both western and local favourites and satisfies the palates of its diners from breakfast till supper.

        Looking for a semi- fine dining? I would recommended my all time favourite lifestyle cafe, Delicious. Perfect combination of Western and Deli cuisine serve to your table. The lifestyle cafe is unique for it's environment and both Western and Deli fine dining experience. In other words, diners whom are looking to eat steak, cottage pie,spagheti,or even local Nasi Lemak. All of these fabulous food can be found in these modern lifestyle cafe. For me it was my perfect experience to have a tasty and wonderful fine dining.

     The design of the menu is so nice. Attractive menu always makes a diner feel happy to open it. Design is so modern and yet simple. The menu is so carefully organized and designed, the food on the menu must be also perfectly put together as well. 

Frosty lychee tea. RM10.90

       For drinks, the frosty lychee tea is one of the best choice. It's richness of lychee is so powerful. It makes you feel refreshing in the first sip. The drink is a perfect choice if you want to have a fruity experience. 

Cream of Pumpkin with Parmessan and Truffle oil.RM14.90

      There are some varieties of soup for you to choose from, but for me, I would choose the chef recommended soup. The cream pumpkin soup. It's creamy texture lets your mouth jiggles when you take a spoon full of it. In addition the parmessan cheese does put a kick in it. The saltiness of the cheese and the mild flavour of the oil complement the soup very well as it makes your mouth palate interested in every spoon. The portion of the soup is also quite big. It can be serve as two person meal. But it is fine to finish it up personally as it is irresistible. 

"Sinful" Caesar Salad RM22.90

    What's a meal without salad? At Delicious, their Caesar  salads are a little sloppy. But it is still the most favoured salad to be ordered by diners, one bite of it and you will fell in love immediately. Of course, All the ingredients is fresh. Thus,makes your mouth feel pleasing. The dressing is so refreshing. It has just the perfect amount of dressing to complement the salad. A little sour, a little sweet, those flavours hits the spot perfectly. 

Grilled chicken cos lettuce salad. RM25.90

     This salad makes your mouth palate feel interesting too. the dish consist of lettuce, grilled chicken, tomatoes, berries, avocado.  What's a salad without a dressing? For this salad, the chef used a Ranch dressings which suits perfectly for the salad. Wise choice from the chef. The chicken was grilled till perfect. Flavours were brought to life because of the chicken. All ingredients are fresh. Thus, diners won't feel boring eating the salad.  

Spicy buffalo BBQ chicken wings with honey mustard .RM15.90

       The Spicy chicken wings is a dish that is a must called dish for diners that are craving for chicken wings. The spicy chicken wings are fried to perfection. The crunchiness of the wings is so good. But yet juices of the in the meat are locked in the meat. Flavour is as the menu said Spicy. The dip sauce is honey mustard which when you eat together it will let craving for more. 

"Quiche Loreinne" with Beef Chunks and Sundried Tomatoes. RM18.90

     When in Delicious, The "Quiche Loreinne" is a must called dish. When you look upon the menu, there is a stated simbol shows that this dish is chef recommended. It is stated for a reason. It's flavour is rich, the Black Peper Sauce is made to perfection with enough amount of heat and the pastry is puffy. The beef inside is cooked to absolute moist, it literally melts in your mouth. Plus, the sundried tomato just add more earthy flavours to the dish making the dish dance in your palate. Thus,the dish is so popular for diners for it's undeniable flavours.

Cabonara Spaghettini RM25.90

   Who does not love Spaghetti? At Delicious, the pasta  the chef recommended Cabonara Spaghetti. In this dish consists of beef, Oyster mushrooms,Oregano,Some black fish eggs (caviar),and Cream. Believe or not, It sings in your mouth for it's creamy texture. The beef, Oyster mushrooms has been stir fried before serving which add some flavours to the dish. After that, the spaghetti has been cooked perfectly. Both of them are then put together on a dish. After that, a small drop of caviar is added to the dish to add some wild flavours to it. Oregano and some parmessan has been placed on the dish. At last, the chef recommended dish has been served. 

Berrilicious Chocolate Pavlova. RM13.90

        Dessert! Chocolate and berries, who does not love them? The dessert is consist of a rich chocolate cake with a topping of berries. In this case Strawberries.The richness of chocolate cake is just a perfect contrast with the Strawberries. Blends in you mouth just fine. Not too sweet nor bitter. Some Belgium chocolate piece are randomly  place on the plate. Thus, the chocolate adds some rich bitter flavour to the sweet Strawberries.  

Carrot Cake with cream cheese toping. RM12.90

     Carrot cake has been my favourite dessert from the first day I had my meal in this cafe. It is simply divine. Who does not love cream cheese? Moist cake, yummy centre, rich cream cheese. These elements of the cake are so cleverly put together it makes your heart melt when you eat it. 

     Overall, the dishes here are same as the name of the cafe, Delicious. It's portion is bigger than expected. Perfect for diners that expect perfect food and modern environment. But for every good things it has a price to pay. The food here are slightly expensive. But for whom that are willing to pay. This is the perfect lifestyle cafe to dine in.
