M for Morganfield's - Eat Your Heart Out

          Malaysia is a country with a lots of delicious foods. One of a local western restaurant is Morganfield's, which called itself 'Home of Sticky Bones'. It has three outlets for now. The first branch in Malaysia is located in the heart of the thriving city itself, Pavilion Shopping Mall Kuala Lumpur. The second outlet is at Gurney Paragon, Penang and the third outlet is at Star Vista, Singapore. The restaurant owner said that there will be more outlets in 2013.

          Last Friday, I made a reservation for 4 pax before dine in to Morganfield's Pavilion with my friends as the restaurant is always full house. The host was friendly and welcome us to their restaurant. When we reached there, the attraction is not only the food, but also the restaurant itself. The environment is not brightly lit, probably due to the concept is set in a rustic, raw and retro ambience. On top of that, diners enable relax in a blue-jazz tunes environment for a little drink and dining experience. However, there is four sections in the restaurant, al fresco dining section and bar which are both smoking area, executive dining area and casual family area which are both non smoking area.

Food & Beverage Menu

          This restaurant serves a huge selection pork related dishes. For example, mouth-watering appetizer, crispy garden salads, succulent steaks and chops, matching combos, fresh seafood from the sea, innovative poultry meals, and also glam burgers to delighted sandwiches.

Hickory BBQ Spare Ribs

Rib Bib

           The signature dish is Sticky Bones which is old fashioned prime pork ribs came from Spain, slowly smoked with hickory wood. It has three favors, the original will be Hickory BBQ Spare Ribs, the spicy ribs will be Tuscan Baked Spicy Spare Ribs and the last is for the black pepper lover, Smoked Peppercorn Spare Ribs. The restaurant owner promised us that their ribs will made us lick our lips and fingers. Anyway, the waiter will offer a rib bib to those who ordered pork ribs to avoid getting your entire dirty.

Sauteed Mushroom

           We had a Sauteed Mushroom as a appetizer. It is Eringi King mushrooms sauteed will Merlot garlic butter and also sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. It taste pretty awesome with the cheese. It is a must to order if you are a mushroom's lover.

Berry Easy

           As for drinks, I had a Berry Easy. It is a combination of black grapes, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries. For berries' lover, Berry Easy will be a good try. I pretty like the taste.

Chicken Cordon Bleu served with Grilled Corn & Pilaf Rice

          Besides, I ordered Chicken Cordon Bleu for my meal. The chicken breast is stuffed with pork ham and cheese. It deep fried until a perfect crispy golden brown and served with spicy tomato sauce. This dish usually serve with two side dishes which are red skin mashed potato and  garden veggies. Yet if you do not like those side dishes, there are alternative choices for you, such like french fries, baked potato, grilled corn, pilaf rice and also coleslaw.

Lava Cake

           By the way, the restaurant owner treat us pretty good. He buy us a dessert as our last dish, Lava Cake. It is a moist, warm chocolate cake filled with rich chocolate cream. It served with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.

  
          Morganfield's is a great place for you to unwind from the hustle and bustle of your busy schedules. It has only sports and cartoon channels being shown as entertainment. You will not regret for dining Morganfield's. Spend your happy moment with the companionship of your group of friends, colleagues and guests.
